It was after a vacation in the Mount Washington Valley in the summer of 1990 that I decided this was where I had to live. I longed to be in these beautiful mountains with clean air, fresh water, and clear starry skies. In the spring of 1991, I packed up and moved here from Philadelphia. It was the best decision I ever made!
Living here is everything I imagined it would be and more. Besides having all the amenities of a four-season resort area, including fine restaurants and shops, Mt. Washington Valley is a wonderful, caring community. This is a fabulous place to live or simply visit, surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest, with numerous ski areas, thousands of hiking trails and a multitude of lakes and streams. It's only 1-1/2 hours from Portland, ME and the beautiful Maine coast. People really care about one another in this community of Mt. Washington Valley, which I call home. I reside in the lovely town of Chatham, NH, which is on the Maine border, a town of less than 300 people! I live with my husband, Bert Weiss, a glass artist, and our two dogs, Abby and Ella, both mixed-breed beauties.
I have been helping customers and clients purchase and sell Real Estate since 1998. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the White Mountain Board of Realtors and the New Hampshire Association of Realtors, which means that I subscribe to the highest standards of ethics in our industry. I am licensed to sell Real Estate in both Maine and New Hampshire and I am a partner in the company, JtRealty Lakefront to Mountainside.
I am an active member of my community, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Conway Area Humane Society, www.conwayshelter.org. I have previously been on the Boards of Directors of the White Mountains Jazz and Blues Festival, Conway Village Chamber of Commerce and the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce, www.mountwashingtonvalley.org.
I have earned the designation CRS, Certified Residential Specialist, which means that I have completed a rigorous course of study to help me better serve my customers and clients.
